Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Enrollment (Now serving Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens residents)

  • HWCLI connects residents of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens with SNAP benefits by assisting with application and enrollment and providing necessary education and outreach through community events at the grassroots level. SNAP provides nutrition assistance to eligible individuals and families. In addition to increasing individuals’ and families’ access to healthy foods, the program provides between $1.73 and $1.79 of investment in local economic activity for every SNAP dollar spent in the community – a stimulus for small businesses.
