The Health & Welfare Council of Long Island (HWCLI) is hosting its third annual job fair on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. at Farmingdale State College.

At the event, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet recruiters from nonprofit, health and human service organizations across Long Island.

Based in Huntington Station, HWCLI is a regional, nonprofit umbrella organization for health and human service providers who are dedicated to improving the lives of Long Island’s most vulnerable residents by responding to their needs through the promotion and development of public policies and direct services.

Wednesday’s job fair is geared for those who are seeking full-time positions, internships and even volunteer opportunities.

Registered attendees will receive resume and cover letter preparation resources, interview tips and best practices, information on accessing business attire in advance of the fair and more.
