Agencies Offered Active Shooter Training

Active shooter training will be offered to health and human service providers starting in October, the Health & Welfare Council said Wednesday.
The goal is to prepare nonprofit staffers for an attack and improve situational awareness, the organization said.
The free trainings will be made in partnership with Homeland Security from Nassau and Suffolk Police Departments. The sessions are scheduled for the following days:
Thursday, October 6th, 2022 10AM (Hauppauge)
Thursday, October 20th, 2022 10AM (Westbury)
Friday, October 21st, 2022 10AM (Brentwood)
Thursday, October 27th, 2022 10AM (Patchogue)
Friday, November 4th, 2022 10AM (Garden City)
Monday, November 7th, 2022 10AM (Hempstead)
